 북극에 와이어를 달아서 들어 올려 지구본을 똑바로 서게 만들었다. 지구가 바로 서면 오히려 받침이 들려 지구본은 불안하고 위태로운 상태가 된다. 기울어진 것을 바로 세운다는 것과 땅에 단단히 붙어 흔들리지 않는다는 것, 두 것 중 하나를 선택하게 만듦으로써 비슷한 뜻을 가진 것처럼 보이는 개념들 사이에 긴장감을 만들어 보고자 했다.

To erect a globe uprightly, I mounted a wire on the north pole of it. When the Earth is in the upright position, the globe becomes unstable. I wanted to create a tension between the two of them; making tilted object upright, and standing firm on the ground. I wanted to expose the difference between the two that seem to have similar meanings.
